The Tree of Life is Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s “icon”. You see the Tree and you know which park it represents. (It also makes a great backdrop for fun family photos!)
There’s something special about walking through The Oasis and topping that hill before the bridge to see the Tree of Life for the first time, or for the first time that visit. It’s so very magical.
The World of Theme Parks has posted this amazing video of the construction of the Tree. Standing at 145 feet it can be seen from far and wide.
On my recent trip I explored the newly re-opened paths that are located on the backside of the tree.
It’s a lovely area with up-close viewing of the many animals carvings.
