As we reflect on 2016, I look back at my Disney travels for the year. I’ve been blessed to visit Walt Disney World through different seasons this year – warm, hot, hotter and surface of the Sun. Through all the seasons, thse are my Top 5.
5. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village

Our family was able to experience the amazing Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village in June of 2016. I can’t begin to describe the awesomeness of this Resort. Views of exotic animals, delicious dining, a pool that feels like a resort itself and cultural exhibits and artifacts that you’d have to travel to Africa see in person.
4. Tiffins

I dedicated an earlier blog post to Tiffins. Go there! You have to try this place!
Tiffins – A Delicious Surprise
3. Narcoossee’s Sunday Waterfront Brunch

This restaurant is located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and is one of my top two dining experiences at Walt Disney World. The brunch takes place only on Sundays from 9:30am-1:30pm. It is without question – fine dining. Pastries, appetizers and entrees that were each delicious and plentiful, plus a beautiful dessert to finish.
2. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (Walt Disney World)

I really can’t say enough about the exciting atmosphere of this party. Disney goes all out for this one. Special meet and greets with unusual characters, special merchandise and party treats. The two highlights for me would be Hallowishes! and the Boo to You Parade. Both the fireworks and parade are unlike anything I could have imagined
1. Grand Marshal of the Festival of Fantasy Parade
This was hands down the best Disney experience of 2016. It was a once in a lifetime event made even more special because I experienced it with my mother.

What was your favorite Disney experience this year? Are you planning a trip for 2017?
Best Wishes for a healthy and happy New Year! May 2017 bless you with the ability to travel and spend time with family and friends.
As Always,
Betsy
