Sunday Waterfront Brunch at Narcoossee’s

I had the pleasure of having a splendid Sunday Waterfront Brunch with three dear friends at The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa’s Narcoossee’s restaurant.  It was a special experience as it was a first for us all.

It was the last day of my October trip to Walt Disney World and I was trying to fit everything in.  Visiting Parks and eating were my number one priorities!    I took Disney transportation to the Magic Kingdom early that morning and enjoyed some last rides in the Park with my friend Kelly.  We took the resort boat service from the entrance of the Magic Kingdom across the Seven Seas Lagoon to The Grand Floridian.  I so enjoy the boat service to the resorts.  We often use it for a trip to Fort Wilderness or to dinner at Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Upon arrival we had a short walk to Narcoossees’s.  It’s located right on Seven Seas Lagoon and offers beautiful views of the water, the Contemporary and Magic Kingdom Park.

Narcoossee’s is beautiful and is one of Disney’s Signature Restaurants.  Narcoossee’s is open for dinner  (menu)  and the Waterfront Sunday Brunch.  The Brunch menu can be found here.   The menu has changed a bit since our visit but we enjoyed everything we tried.

Shown below is a sampling of all that we tried.  Starting at the top left and going clockwise – Artisanal Cheeses, Lobster Eggs Benedict, the Signature Bloody Mary, the Trio of Desserts, and the Steak and Eggs.

Mimosas or soft drinks and coffee were also available.  And can I just mention, they refill the Mimosas!

This was a great experience. I believe it would be wonderful for a special occasion, Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day or a birthday celebration.  As always, I advise making an advanced dining reservation for this experience.

After Brunch we walked to the bus stop of The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and encountered the one and only Richard!  He’s a staple at the Resort and had just helped a Bride with her dress for her wedding.

Thank you to Kelly Hall, Candice Lunar and Anne Densk for joining me for this experience and also sharing their photos for this post.  I guess I was a bit to eager to dine as I seemed to have forgotten to photograph anything!
