As we all know 2020 was not the year for travel. In fact, it was probably the hardest year ever for the travel industry. I’ve been using the #bookforwardtotravel hashtag for many months now, not only to encourage people to book now and travel later, but to give myself hope that we’ll all be traveling again soon.
With travel still a bit concerning for some, I’m concentrating on domestic locations and locations that don’t require flights. National Parks, long weekends at destinations close to home and car tours being the most popular.
Many destinations, including the all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, have updated their protocols for cleaning and service. The cruise lines are working on their protocols as well so that hopefully someday soon, we’ll be sailing the high seas again soon. Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort have successfully re-opened their theme parks with enhanced cleaning and a reduction in park capacity.
For now, I’m working on training provided by vendors, attending webinars and reading up on destinations I’d love to visit and share with you.
When you are ready to travel in 2021 I’ll be here to help! In the meantime, add a few more items to that bucket travel list and contact me when you’re ready to start checking them off!
